Marven is a musician and bartender who likes to explore all the artistic avenues available to him. Whether he’s modifying clothes or expressing himself in drawing, collage, and watercolor, Marven knows how to find the necessary passion to pour himself into his practice, body and soul. He is often described as a chameleon: he knows how to weave through any social situation with respect, openness, and contagious joie de vivre.
What is the most important detail of your practice for you?
In a word, I would say energy. Being aware of what you project and being attentive to the energies of others. I find it important to be on the same wavelength when it comes time to create. It allows for communication where any intervention is welcome and valid.
