DANIEL (he-him)
Daniel is a Venezuelan born and raised in the city of Maracaibo. He moved to Montreal in 2019. A creative, photographer and documentalist, he fell in love with the medium of documenting through lenses when developing a passion for movies and photography growing up and decided to pursue Visual Communications in the university.
He likes to indulge himself by going on walks, people watching and capturing the everyday beauty that surrounds him. His eye for fashion and styling is present on his day to day and plans to keep expanding that area collaborating with different artists in the city.
What detail of your practice do you always try to put forward?
Authenticity and Connection. I find value in connecting with people, whether it’s with a stranger on the street or someone on set I could be working with. Asking genuine questions about themselves it’s a great way to absorb new perspectives in order to grow as a human, creative and professional. As well, being truthful and honouring my culture and background is essential in my practice.
