Cassandra is a model and photographer who has been practicing film photography for seven years. Soft and authentic, she strives to immortalize bodies, their curves, their strength, and their simplicity. A lover of sensuality and nudity, this Montreal artist shows us that it’s important to see and be moved by naked skin that resembles reality, far from the unhealthy beauty standards and corrupt images we are too often confronted with in the media. She’s the co-founder and photographer of The Womanhood Project, which has recently been exhibited in the Musée des Beaux-Arts du Québec. Her talents have been written about in Italian Vogue, i-D, Vice, La Presse, Elle, and Radio-Canada. In the last few years, she developed an interest in being in front of the camera as a model, too. Modeling helps her understand the subjects in her photography practice and connect with other photographers. For Cassandra, being able to practice modeling and photography has become essential for her growth as an artist and woman.
