Josiane is a multidisciplinary artist constantly building her creative DNA. The human experience is at the heart of her practice. Her 9 to 5 consists of using her clinical expertise to help students with adjustment difficulties and behavioral challenges. On weekends, she is an author, poet, editor, and model. Josiane’s current chapter involves reconnecting to the body as a source of inspiration, artistic expression, and visual storytelling.
What is the most important detail in your practice?
The most important detail of my practice is the feeling of security. It all starts from there. When we feel welcomed, protected, and supported, we can see everyone’s full potential blossom. This is what I strive to do in my professional practice with young people. Beyond theory and clinical knowledge, interpersonal skills take precedence. This is what I want to transpose into my creative universe as well. The magic happens when you forge bonds of trust with the different partners and souls needed to bring a project to life. The contribution of each person counts and makes all the difference.
